Relay for Life is a 12-hour, overnight event that raises money for cancer research and patients, as well as spread cancer awareness, celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and unite a community in the fight against cancer.

In the fight against cancer, silence is the last thing we need. Relay For Life of LIU Post is a great place to take action and make noise. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement symbolizes hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. If cancer has touched your life, participating in Relay For Life of LIU Post is a great way to take action and help finish the fight. This is your opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise funds and awareness to fight back and help end cancer forever.
LIU Post had 76 teams and 571 participant and raise $43,222.04
Out of those participants, student athletes and the athletic department participated to help raise close to $5,000.
This included the Equestrian club and Cheer amongst other athletes in attendance.
